WA teams begin 2024 National Futsal Championships

The 2024 National Futsal Championships are under way in Queensland today with seven Football West Gold Fields WA State Futsal teams in action over east.

The Boys U13s got the ball rolling at the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre with a brilliant 6-2 win against Football NSW Metro. They play again today when they take on Football Victoria (12.30pm*).

The WA Boys U15s also have two fixtures on day one. They begin with a game against Football NSW Metro at 7.30am, followed by Football Tasmania at 1.30pm.

The Gold Fields Boys U19s begin their Youth Men's campaign against hosts Football Queensland at 11.30am. This match will be live-streamed on the Football Australia’s YouTube channel and the National Futsal Championships Facebook page.

At 12.30pm, the WA Boys U14s meet Football NSW Thunder, while the WA Boys U12s begin against Football Queensland White at 3.30pm.

The two WA Girls sides at the competition are also playing on day one.

The U15s are first up when they meet Football Queensland at 1.30pm. Then the U13s meet Football Queensland White at 3.30pm.

There are also two WA club sides competing in the Open Men's competition. Cumbre face Football NSW Thunder at 12.40pm in Pool B while Fremantle take on Football NSW Lightning in Pool A at 2.25pm.
