Juan Bautista Propato - Development Coach

Juan is originally from Argentina / New Zealand and holds a PE Teacher degree, a Master in High Performance in Sports and an A Licence. Highly motivated and qualified Football Development Coach and Educator with over 20 years experience as a professional Coach and more than 20 years of playing experience. Juan has international coaching experience at Junior, Youth and Senior levels in Argentina, Germany, Belgium, Cuba, New Zealand and currently in Australia.

Upcoming Events

During the 2022 season, the South West Region will be hosting 11 different opportunities (workshops, Mini-Roos Courses, FFA Courses, Game Leaders Courses and Open Training Sessions to upskill/develop/help our coaches and community. Mentoring sessions are available with Juan, please contact him directly, free of charge.

 

Coaching Coach Education is a key component of Football Australia’s Football Development Plan. Coaches at all levels play a crucial role in ensuring that football is an enjoyable experience for everyone, as well as laying the foundation for the development of better players.

  • Juan Bautista Propato won the South West Academy of Sport Western Australia Award - Wally Foreman Coach of the Year.
  • The award is designed to place the spotlight on coaches in the South West community who have attained a level of excellence that sets them apart from their peers.
  • Key factors considered in judging include the commitment shown, performance and achievement attained, and the level of competition being supported by the coach.
  • The prestigious award is named after the late Wally Foreman, a sports administrator and commentator who was asked by Bunbury business identity Rolf Stene to carry out the feasibility planning for the South West Academy of Sport.
