2024 Female Football Week: what's on
Football West will hold its annual Female Football Week next month and we are inviting you to help us celebrate what’s great about the women’s game.
The “week” actually runs for nine days – from Friday 3 to Sunday 12 May.

GIRLS DAY OUT
Football West is partnering with the City of Canning and the Football Futures Foundation to host its annual Girls Day Out event on Saturday 11 May at the Sam Kerr Football Centre in Queens Park.
Girls Day Out is a FREE fun and inclusive event open to girls aged from 6-16 and includes:
- Small-sided games and activities
- The chance to meet Perth Glory A-League Women and Hyundai NTC players
- Face painting
- Fruit and drink for participants

WOMEN IN FOOTBALL NETWORKING EVENT
Football West is hosting a Women in Football networking event, open to all women in the sport from coaches to administrators, from referees to parents who are new to volunteering in the sport.
The event will be held in collaboration with Floreat Athena.

FEMALE FOOTBALL WEEK AWARDS
As part of the week, we are inviting nominations for five Female Football Week Awards.
They are in the following categories:
- Administrator of the Year
- Champion of the Year*
- Coach of the Year
- Referee of the Year
- Player of the Year

Registrations are open now and close at 7pm WST on Monday 29 April.
The winners will be announced during Female Football Week and will be submitted to Football Australia for consideration for the 2024 annual national awards.

NATIONAL SEMINAR WEBINARS
Football West’s Female Football Week is held in conjunction with the national celebration and people are invited to register for Football Australia’s National Seminar Webinars. They include:
- Women in Coaching
- Female Refereeing
- Women Working in Sport

FEMALE FOOTBALL WEEK PACKS
