The School Sport WA Sam Kerr Championships 2023 took place on Friday at Aubin Grove United to kick off Female Football Week.

Children from South Coast Baptist College, Phoenix Primary School, Willard Primary School, Aubin Grove Primary School, Rosalie Primary School, Caralee Community School, Lake Joondalup Baptist College and Mercy College took part.

School Sports WA committee member and organiser Lindsay Tacy said: “The day coincided perfectly as the first official day of Female Football Week.

"We had 113 girls participating across eight schools and for the first time ever we managed to have all female officials. It was an amazing afternoon and evening celebrating female football.”
