Iluka man Scott wins brand new $35,000 car in record-breaking Hyundai Community Football Raffle

 

The 2022 Hyundai Community Football Raffle has seen WA clubs raise a new high $209,232 through ticket sales – and they get to keep every cent.

The total is $26,156 more than the total raised in 2021.

And following on from their successful season on the field, Perth RedStar will receive $2,500 after selling the winning ticket for the first prize of a brand-new Hyundai i30 Hatch N Line, valued at $35,300.

Scott McKinlay of Iluka was the lucky winner. He will receive this new car at a Hyundai dealership in the coming weeks.

The second prize of a VIP experience for eight at a 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup group match in Perth was won by Thi Nguyen from Marangaroo. The ticket was bought through Perth SC, who will receive $1,500.

Ian Bennett of Armadale won the third prize of a $2,000 travel voucher. He nominated Ellenbrook United, who will receive $500.

Ellenbrook United also landed a club bonus prize of $1,500 for selling the most tickets online.

In total, 104,616 tickets were sold 76,972 through book sales raising- $153,944, and 27,644 online ($55,288).
