WA clubs have smashed the record for ticket sales for the Hyundai Community Football Raffle.
An incredible $297,384 has been raised through online and paper ticket sales in just six months – and every cent will remain in WA grassroots football.
The final total is almost $90,000 higher than last year’s total.
And adding the money clubs have earned in bonus prizes, the final sum that local clubs will reap will break the $300,000 mark.
The winner of the first prize, a brand-new Hyundai Tucson Elite N Line Turbo valued at $51,655, is Ian Payn, who purchased 20 tickets online. Ian has nominated Dianella Spartans FC as his club, earning them $2,500.
The second prize, valued at $2,400, is a VIP Experience for eight guests in the Hyundai Hospitality Suite at RAC Arena. This was won by Kristy Davies, who bought her ticket from Morley Windmills SC.
Cassie Barton, who nominated Abrolhos FC, landed the third prize of a VIP Experience for four guests in the Hyundai Hospitality Suite at RAC Arena. This is valued at $1,200.
Fremantle City continued their recent winning run by selling the most tickets overall (online and in paper form). They sold a massive $30,022 and will be rewarded with a $2,500 cash prize.
The club that sold the most tickets online were Bayswater City Soccer Club. The total of $22,476 saw them also scoop a $2,500 cash prize.
