Gwelup face Kingsley in Night Series opener
The Men's State League Night Series competition starts this weekend with games at Ellenbrook Sports Hub, Wanneroo City SC and Crazy Domains Stadium on Friday and Sunday.
The highlights of the Friday games include the Group A match at Ellenbrook between Gwelup Croatia, who were relegated from the NPL last season, and Division Two side Kingsley Westside, who reached the promotional play-offs last season. This is followed by the Group B encounter between Quinns, who have dropped down to Division Two, and Fremantle City.
The two matches at Forrestfield tonight are Ashfield v Subiaco in Group F, then Mandurah City v Curtin University.
And at Wanneroo, Joondalup City take on UWA Nedlands in Group D, followed by hosts Wanneroo City v Dianella White Eagles.
Meanwhile on Sunday at Wanneroo, holders Murdoch University Melville begin their defence with a Group D game against Carramar Shamrock Rovers, who missed out on promotion to Division One in the play-off final last season. Then it is the Group E encounter between Western Knights and Balga.
On the same night in Group C, Forrestfield United host Canning City at Crazy Domains Stadium. This precedes the Group F game between Rockingham City and Swan United.
And at Ellenbrook, Morley-Windmills meet 2022 Division Two champions Gosnells Cty in Group B, then Maddington White City, fresh from promotion from the Amateur Premier Division, face Joondalup United in Group A.
