Denmark, China Women's World Cup parties get early taste of Perth
A great turnout at Perth Rectangular Stadium this morning as delegates from Denmark and the People's Republic of China look at the venue for their 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup matches in WA.
The parties will also look at potential training locations today, including the State Football Centre in Queens Park.

Deputy Premier and Tourism Minister Roger Cook addressed the media, while Tourism Western Australia Managing Director Carolyn Turnbull and VenuesWest CEO David Etherton were also present, as well as representatives of 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, Tourism Western Australia, Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, VenuesWest, City of Vincent and Football West.

Mr Cook said: "Western Australia loves big events, and we are going to see nine of the best teams in the world right here in Perth.
"This is going to be the biggest sporting event hosted on Australian soil since the Sydney 2000 Olympics.
"Apart from the action on the field, this a terrific opportunity to showcase our State to thousands of visitors and the millions more watching the international broadcasts.
"It's going to be a fantastic couple of weeks for both local businesses and fans, as we experience the buzz and atmosphere of having so many different nations competing in one of the world's great events."
