Football West is inviting metro clubs to partake in a program to upskill and support their grassroots coaches and volunteers.
The program will see Football West Development Officer Dan Evans, an accredited A Licence coach, deliver a model session at your club for coaches of MiniRoos (aged 5-8) or Skill Acquisition Phase (aged 9-12) players.
The aim is to provide support and advice for new and existing coaches, plus parent volunteers, highlighting what to coach and how best to communicate with young players.
There will also be a question-and-answer component at the end of each session, with coaches and parents outside of the immediate working player group encouraged to attend.
These club visits will take place on Wednesday evenings between March and September.
