A taste of Africa returns to Langley Park

Football West’s Africa Down Under Cup takes place at Langley Park this afternoon with 16 teams chasing glory.

The annual event, which is run jointly with Paydirt Media, is a celebration of African culture through football and coincides with the Africa Down Under mining conference.

The men’s tournament will consist of three groups of four. Each group winner will advance to the semi-finals along with the best runner-up.

The women’s cup is a round-robin tournament with all four teams playing each other. The top two sides will play in the final.
