Bayswater City hit top spot in Group B as they saw off Floreat Athena 3-1. Bala Noah Shamaki struck first for Floreat, however Samuel Dweh netted twice to have Baysie leading at half-time. And in the final minute Josh Bell grabbed the third to make the game safe.

Bayswater sit two points ahead of Perth SC, who drew 2-2 with Fremantle City at Dorrien Gardens on Friday. Ollie La Galia scored first for Freo but that was quickly cancelled out by Gordon Perkins. Perth then looked to have won it when Federico Achilli scored in the 90th minute, before the evergreen Robert Petkov earned City a draw at the death.

The Azzuri are one point better off than Freo and Stirling Macedonia, who are third on goal difference following Friday’s 1-1 draw against Perth Glory. Stirling led through an own goal, with Gio De Abreu on target for Glory.
