Football West can announce its player registration and team entry fees for the 2024 competition season.
With increasing costs, including significant increases in insurance premiums, Football West has reluctantly taken the decision to increase player registration and team entry fees.
Despite this, the fee increase remains below the current CPI.
In real terms, the increase for all players under 16 across Western Australia is under $5, while for 17-18-year-olds it is $5.75.
The Football West fee includes Football Australia’s National Registration Fee of $14.50 for Juniors and $34 for Seniors.
Since the COVID pandemic, Football Australia has significantly reduced its distribution of funds to Member Federations. The new cost will assist Football West to continue to deliver improved services and other key projects identified in Football West’s new Strategic Plan 2023-2026.
