2023 State League Awards - all the winners from Dorrien Gardens

The 2023 State League Awards took place at Perth SC’s Dorrien Gardens on Thursday with the Men’s State League Divisions One and Two, plus the Hyundai Women’s League Division One, celebrating their seasons.

Christiane Astorp of champions Hamersley Rovers was named Women’s League Division One Player of the Year, receiving her award from Hyundai Australia Regional Co-ordinator Sonia Velkovski.

The State League Division One Player of the Year was shared between Fremantle City’s Hamza Hina and Angel Andres Rivera of Dianella White Eagles.

And it was an incredible three-way tie for the State League Division Two Player of the Year, with Curtin University pair Jeffrey Ledwith and Kieran Witt and Canning City’s Alec Radonich taking out the award.

The three Coach of the Year awards went to the respective league champions – Steven Dimitrovich of Division Two winners Kingsley Westside, Adam Kostrencic of Division One champions Western Knights, and Betim Ziba, who led Hamersley Rovers to the Hyundai Women’s League Division One crown.
