Women’s top four divisions confirmed

UPDATE: The teams who will make up the Women’s top four divisions for 2020 have been confirmed.

The inaugural NPLWA – Women’s competition is the top division, with the eight clubs revealed before Christmas.

Now the State League Division One, Division Two and Amateur League spots have been filled.

Football West Competition Manager Angela Murphy said: “These are exciting times for the female game in WA with the introduction of the NPLWA – Women’s competition.

“We want to see the divisions further down the pyramid go from strength to strength, too. There are also the Metro divisions, so the opportunity is there for all players to develop their game.”

The NPLWA – Women’s Night Series begins on February 9.
