Gold Fields WA State Paras in grand final

The Gold Fields WA State Paras’ brilliant run at the 2019 National CP Football Championships has seen them book their place in Sunday’s grand final.

They will play pre-tournament favourites NSW Blue after red-hot Connor Bunce scored all four goals as the WA side defeated Victoria 4-3 at Sydney’s Valentine Sports Park.

Earlier on Saturday the WA State Paras hammered South Australia 10-0, with Bunce scoring two, Allan Sarago Ah-Kee grabbing a hat-trick and the others from Chris Minutillo (2), Bradley Scott, Alessandro La Verghetta and an own goal.

In their five matches so far the WA side have scored an amazing 38 goals, with 16-year-old Bunce 14 goals. Two of the team’s other wins were 9-0 and 14-1.
