UPDATE: Football West is holding trials for the Hyundai NTC for Girls program for the 2024 season.

The purpose of the Hyundai NTC (National Training Centre) is to provide potentially talented players access to a quality training environment. There is also exposure through the National Youth Championships and NTC Challenge with the view of identification into Junior Matildas and Young Matildas camps.

More than 130 players from across WA got together in Perth this week to take part in the Hyundai Talent Support Program Carnival at Gibbney Reserve.

Overseen by Pro-, A- and B-Licence coaches, the event ran for six sessions over three days.

Football West Football Development Officer Gareth Naven said: “The TSP Carnival was about encouraging players to show their individuality, to be comfortable and enjoy having the ball. It sounds simple, but that is not always the case.

Football West is seeking suitably qualified and experienced coaches to work part-time within its Hyundai Talent Support Program and Hyundai Skill Acquisition Program.

The team of coaches work under the guidance of Football West's Development Officer to provide a quality training program which supports and assists players in their football development.

The coach should have experience working with players between the ages of 9-12 and/or 13-16 and hold a minimum of a current C Licence accreditation.

Football West has Vacancies in the following positions:

What is TSP?

The Football Australia player pathway for girls and boys supports the development of all potentially talented players throughout their football journey. The pathway for young players to reach their potential can vary immensely and as such there is not one way to achieving national team selection.
