2023 Player Registration Fees

Football West can announce its player registration fees for the 2023 competition season.

With increasing costs, Football West has reluctantly taken the decision to increase player registration fees.

This rise, excluding a small charge for a new competition management system (CMS), is below the current CPI.

In real terms, the increase for all players under 16 across WA will be less than $8, while for 17-18-year-olds the increase is $8.07.

The Football West fee includes Football Australia’s National Registration Fee of $14.50 for Juniors and $34 for Seniors*.

Team entry fees for the 2023 season will increase by 7%, the first increase in several years.

Since the COVID pandemic, Football Australia has significantly reduced its distribution of funds to Member Federations. The new cost will assist Football West to continue to deliver improved services, offer more courses and provide greater club support, as well as ensure the game remains accessible and a positive experience for all.

Football West would like to thank you for your support throughout 2022, and we look forward to seeing you back on the pitch next year.
