Two games but 14 goals as Quinns move up the table

Just two games were possible in the Men’s Belt Up Amateur Premier Division on Sunday because of the rain but we still had 14 goals.

With neither Maddington White City nor South West Phoenix able to play, that allowed Quinns to make ground on the top two as they jumped from sixth to third with a 6-0 win over Joondalup United.

Ryan McCready (3), Liam Hunt (2) and Danny Head got the goals as Quinns put second-bottom United to the sword.

Quinns now sit three points off leaders Maddington and one behind Phoenix, having played a game more.

The other Round 11 game which went ahead between Jaguar FC and Hamersley Rovers finished 4-4.

Mawien Deng (2), Conor O’Driscoll and Lok Mamal scored for Jaguar, who trailed 2-1 at the break. Rovers’ goals came from Abdul Kamara, Cameron Wright, Jakub Vychytil and Mathias Assou.
