Football West is running a FREE female-only MiniRoos Certificate this Saturday.
The Miniroos Certificate uses short, game-based sessions to introduce football to newcomers in an inclusive way.
The two-hour course is designed for overseeing children aged four to nine, is fully practical and encourages the coach to develop practices that are safe, fun and enjoyable.
The nationwide program puts an emphasis on natural development, being active, making lifelong friends and potentially unearthing the next generation of Socceroos and Commonwealth Bank Matildas.
No coaching but organising FUN football exercises is the key to helping players build a love for the game.
Another highlight of the course is that the coaches are exposed to basic rules of the game as well as tips and hints on building a football culture in a completely practical setting.
The Certificate was previously known as the Football West Grassroots Course.
