Men’s State League Division Two club Morley Windmills have been issued with a Disciplinary Infringement Notice for a breach of player status rules.
The breach concerns the payment of Amateur-registered players above the permitted threshold, as stipulated in Football Australia’s National Registration, Status and Transfer Regulations.
The Grade 3 offence, under the Player Payment System, means Morley Windmills first team faces a deduction of 21 competition points, effective immediately. The club will be fined $5,000.
Morley Windmills will be expected to fulfil their remaining fixtures for the 2023 season.
