Congratulations to the players, coaches, referees, organisers, supporters, parents and our partner Gold Fields Australia who all helped make the 2022 Gold Fields WA State Futsal Tournament such a fantastic weekend.
Football West Chief Development Officer Garry Church said: "With State Team players unable to travel to the Football Australia National Youth Futsal Championships this month, it was fantastic for the players to wear the State Team shirt and play in the Gold Fields WA State Futsal Tournament.
"This is the second year the State Teams have not been able to travel to the Nationals but the tournament allows the for the State Futsal teams to play and keep the program going.
"Many thanks to all of the other teams and coaches who participated, plus the team at Pro Futsal who helped us put on such a great weekend.
"Finally, none of this would have been possible without the support of our State Team name sponsor Gold Fields Australia, and we appreciate Gold Fields Unit Manager: Future Skills Eddie Sheppard supporting the tournament personally and presenting the trophies."
Along with the Gold Fields State Teams were sides from Spearwood Lions Futsal Club, Fremantle Wolves Futsal Club, Football Evolution Training, Canning Tigers Futsal Club, Geraldton, South Perth Futsal Club, Subiroos, Stirling Braza Ginga Futsal Club, South West Phoenix Football Club, Perth Pumas Futsal Club and Rockingham Cambio Cumbre Futsal.
