Football West Program Lead – Community Melissa Gmeiner said: “Congratulations to both teams and everyone involved who put on this fantastic event.

“With the National CP (Cerebral Palsy) Football Championships cancelled for the second successive year due to Covid, it was important that we were able to offer an alternative tournament for the WA Paras.

“The players, officials and organisers all got fully behind the Championship. We’d also like to thank Floreat Athena and Hale School for hosting the games.”

The weekend also saw Special Olympics, United Reds Football League and Equal Footingball players compete in matches.
