Australia Cup draw pits MUM FC against Kwinana

Murdoch University Melville are in action for the first time following their Night Series triumph when they host Kwinana United in the Australia Cup this Saturday.

The competition, previously called the FFA Cup, is at the regional third round stage this weekend.

MUM FC and the other Men's State League teams enter the fray this week, joining regional, WACFA and Belt Up Metro and Amateur sides. NPL teams will be involved after this round.

ROUND THREE DRAW

Taki Nicolaidis' team will be fancied to progress when they face Amateur Premier outfit Kwinana.

Rockingham City, relegated from the NPL last season, take on Subiaco at Lark Hill, while another side returning to the first division this year are promoted Dianella White Eagles, who are away at Forrestfield United.

Olympic Kingsway, beaten by MUM FC in last Saturday's final, are at home to Gosnells City, while other all-State League ties include Carramar Shamrock Rovers v Wanneroo City, Western Knights v Fremantle City, Quinns v Canning City and Morley Windmills v Joondalup United.

One team who might be scouring FuelWatch on Friday night are Albany Caledonian, who visit Swan United, while other sides with long hauls include northern duo Yanchep United and Joondalup City - Yanchep head to Mandurah City while Joondalup are at Busselton City.

South West Phoenix, who have regained their State League status, have a derby against Football Margaret River in Bunbury. 

Other fixtures include Balga v Riverside Christian, UWA Nedlands v Northern City, Curtin University v Greyhounds Christian, Joondanna Blues v Ashfield, Emerald v Jaguar, Hamersley Rovers v Kingsley Westside, North Beach v South Perth United, Ballajura v Maddington White City and Chipolopolo v Perth AFC.
