2024 NPLWA season fixtures released

Football West has released its fixtures for the 2024 NPLWA – Men’s and NPLWA – Women’s seasons.

The Men’s NPL competition will again run for 22 rounds, starting on Saturday 16 March and finishing on Saturday 31 August.

Perth RedStar kick off their title defence at home against 2023 State Cup winners Floreat Athena.

NPL newcomers Western Knights are at home to Perth SC, while fellow promoted side Fremantle City travel to Balcatta Etna.

Also in Round One, Armadale are at home against Bayswater City, Inglewood United face Perth Glory at Inglewood Stadium, while last year’s runners-up and Top Four Cup winners Stirling Macedonia have an eye-catching opener against Olympic Kingsway, who finished third in 2023 after lifting the Night Series. That is a 5pm kick-off.

The team that ends the season in last place faces automatic relegation to the State League Division One, while second-bottom will go into a four-team play-off alongside the sides who finish second, third and fourth in Division One.

Meanwhile, the Women’s NPL begins on Saturday 30 March, with 2023 Night Series winners Perth SC at home to Fremantle City.

The remaining games from Round One are scheduled for the following day. Champions and Top Four Cup winners Perth RedStar host Subiaco, Murdoch University Melville face Balcatta Etna, while UWA Nedlands begin life in the NPL with a home game against last year's State Cup winners Hyundai NTC.

The Women’s NPL competition is over 21 rounds and concludes on Sunday 1 September. The team that finishes bottom faces automatic relegation to the Hyundai Women’s League.

Football West is delighted to confirm that all Men’s and Women’s NPL first-team matches will again be live-streamed.

  • Perth Glory and Hyundai NTC will play their home NPL matches in 2024 at the Sam Kerr Football Centre in Queens Park.
