The fixtures for the 2024 Men’s State League season have been confirmed, with Round One set for Saturday 23 March.

And it is clear which game stands out in Division One as Sorrento FC face Joondalup United at Percy Doyle Reserve.

It was United who condemned the Gulls to relegation from the NPL last year after they defeated their neighbours on away goals in the inter-divisional play-offs.

Cockburn City, who have also dropped down from the top flight, are at home to Rockingham City, while Division Two champions Kingsley Westside travel to Murdoch University Melville.

Mandurah City, who missed out on promotion to the NPL in the final minute of the regular season, start with a trip to Dianella White Eagles.

The two other opening week fixtures in Division One see Gwelup Croatia at home to Subiaco while UWA Nedlands host Gosnells City.

In Division Two East Perth, promoted from the Amateur Premier Division, begin their campaign away to Ashfield, while Curtin University, beaten in the inter-divisional play-off final last season, host Joondalup City.

There is a new name in the league this year in the shape of Kalamunda City, following the merger of Maddington White City and Kalamunda United. They start away to Forrestfield United, who dropped down from Division One last year.

In other Round One fixtures, Swan United meet Quinns, Wanneroo City face Balga, while Carramar Shamrock Rovers take on Canning City.

Both Division One and Division Two are played over 22 rounds.
