The 2021 Hyundai NTC Awards took place this week at the Osborne Park Hyundai showroom.
Players and coaches from the four Hyundai NTC teams were present, making for a great evening.
The four Players of the Year were:
- U13 - Olivia Speakes
- U14 - Ruby Cuthbert
- U15 - Sophie Meaden
- U19 - Isabella Wallhead
Football West Manager - Female Football and Advocacy Sarah Du Plessis said: "It was an excellent evening as we acknowledged and celebrated the successes of the Hyundai NTC program and past season. Well done to all the teams, players, coaches and support staff."
Hyundai Regional General Manager WA Michael Beros, SportWest Member and Partnerships Manager Matt Bamford and Perth Glory's former State Team player Tash Rigby all attended, while Sports Minister Tony Buti was represented by his Parliamentary Secretary Yaz Mubarakai MLA.
Football West Chairman Sherif Andrawes, CEO James Curtis, Chief Football Officer Jamie Harnwell and Head of Commercial Terresa Parish also attended.
Two-time Olympic marathon swimmer Heidi Gan was the MC.
"Thank you to everyone who attended and to the special guests who supported the evening," Ms Du Plessis added.
" It was great to have Tash Rigby share her inspiring journey from country town Margaret River and words of motivation for the up-and-coming next generation of football stars.
"Also best wishes to Under 15s coach Faye Chambers, who is stepping away from NTC after a number of years where she has proved to be a great inspiration to her players.
"And congratulations to all the Hyundai Community Footballer award winners and especially to Hyundai for their strong distinguishable support of the NTC Program and of football in WA."
Hyundai also held a Door Prize:
- 1st Prize: 2 tickets - Hyundai Suite at the RAC Arena to see the Perth Wildcats play
- 2nd Prize: A $100 Osborne Park Hyundai service voucher
- 3rd Prize: Hyundai Merchandise backpack, including backpack, cap, drink bottle and beach towel
