Mandurah City's John Baird has taken out the 2021 Men's State League Division One Player of the Year Award.
Baird received his award from Football West director David Buckingham at yesterday's ceremony at Dorrien Gardens.
The Division Two Player of the Year award went to Sasa Njegic of league champions Dianella White Eagles.
The two Coaches of the Year awards in the Men's State League went to the the respective champions - Ian Ferguson of Stirling Macedonia and Stewart Moses of Dianella. Stirling president Luke Pavlos collected the award on behalf of Ferguson from Football West Chief Football Officer Jamie Harnwell.
Baird, who helped Mandurah win the Night Series in March, thanked his teammates for helping him win the award and said the target for 2022 was to push for the title and possible promotion back to the NPL.
