Inglewood to host NPL men and women Night Series finals

Football West is pleased to announce that the Night Series grand finals for the NPL WA and NPLWA – Women’s competitions will take place on the same night.

The double-header will be held at Perth Plasterboard Centre Stadium, home of Inglewood United, on Saturday, 7 March.

The women’s final will kick off at 5pm and will be followed by the men’s decider at 7.30pm.

Football West Head of Member Services Alex Novatsis said holding the two matches together would provide each with greater exposure.

“With the introduction of the NPLWA – Women’s competition this season, this double-header is a natural fit and it would be great to draw a good crowd to watch both games,” he said.

“Last year we held the NPL and State League Night Series finals together and people told us how much they enjoyed it – around 3,000 people attended Frank Drago Reserve. It would be great to get something like that number again as we head into the new season.

“Inglewood have been fantastic hosts for many of our big games in recent years, including the State Team aginst Perth Glory and last season’s Top Four Cup Final.”
