One-sided finals as E-Series II concludes

Football West crowned its latest E-Series champions on Sunday with players from Perth AFC, South Perth United, Aubin Grove United, Murdoch University Melville taking their respective titles with something to spare.

In the PS4 Junior competition, NotDanielLongy (Aubin Grove United) came through a tight semi-final against flynnandsons2014 (Mandurah City) before defeating Lollytom450 (Sorrento) 4-1 in the final.

With both players choosing PSG, NotDanielLongy took control early on and was 2-0 up at half-time.

Lollytom450 gained a lifeline early in the second half but that was as good it it got for the Gulls representative, as NotDanielLongy soon re-established his two-goal advantage before adding a fourth goal near the final whistle.

InBreadFIFA (South Perth United) was the dominant player in the Xbox Junior division. Playing as Liverpool, he continued that form in the semi-final with a 4-1 win over reigning champion BWA Equity (Carramar Shamrock Rovers) before a comfortable 3-0 win in the final against GONNER GUNNER 58 (Olympic Kingsway Sports Club).

The PS4 Senior final was another one-sided contest as Golazo Perth (Murdoch University Melville Football Club), playing as Manchester City, saw off Owengoodliffe (Gwelup Croatia) 4-0.

Both players had thumping semi-final victories but it was Golazo Perth who shone in the final. He was 2-0 up at the interval with Owengoodliffe, as Liverpool, struggling to make an impact.

And it was a similar story after the turnaround, as Golazo added two further goals.

Finally to the Xbox Senior competition where Magnum BP (Perth AFC) was too strong for Lostboy v02 (Cockburn City).

In a first half with little to choose between the players, Magnum BP, as PSG, struck right on half-time. The second half was one-way traffic as Magnum BP ran away with the match, wrapping it up with a fourth goal just before the final whistle.
