Update: Wednesday 7 July 2021 10am
The State Government announced that restrictions will ease in Perth and Peel from Tuesday 6 July.
Transitional restrictions will remain in place for a further six days, from 12:01am Tuesday 6 July through to 12:01am on Monday 12 July, which means:
- Spectators are permitted at matches, training, programs etc
- Hospitality venues have a 150 patron limit and 2sqm rule
Masks will remain mandatory for indoor public venues, with exemptions for primary school aged children and medical reasons.
Masks will no longer be required in outdoor public spaces where physical distancing is possible or when undertaking vigorous exercise indoors or outdoors.
Anyone who has been in the Perth or Peel regions since Sunday 27 June but has since travelled to another region must continue to wear a mask subject to the conditions which apply in Perth and Peel.
The full list of State Government transitional restrictions between 12.01am Tuesday 6 July to 12.01am Monday 12 July can be found here.
For all fixtures postponed on the weekend, Football West encourages clubs to be proactive in rearranging fixtures with opposition clubs. This is important to ensure we complete a full season in 2021.
For NPL and State League, confirmation of these rearranged fixtures is required by 5.00pm Tuesday 6 July via the email@example.com email, with the rearranged fixtures to be played by Sunday 18 July (with no rearranged fixtures from 12.00pm –9.00pm Saturday 17 July).
For all other fixtures, confirmation is required by 5.00pm Friday 9 July via the firstname.lastname@example.org email.
Following this period of transitional restrictions, it is expected that Perth and Peel will return to pre-lockdown conditions from 12:01am on Monday 12 July.
