Uniforms

Football West is pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached with Evolution Sports Imports Pty Ltd (ESI), using their well known Kelme brand, to become the official supplier of referee uniforms and apparel for Football West match officials until the end of the 2013 season.

ESI's association in football in Western Australia dates back to 2003, and supplies many Western Australian clubs, schools and associations through its exclusive brands Kelme, Select and Ho Soccer with great success. ESI focuses are on-time delivery, value for money, styling and service with a smile.

ESI's Sales Manager and Director, Caesar Aquino, stated that "ESI are very proud to sponsor and supply uniforms for Football West Referees. We are committed to help develop the world game in Western Australia and one of those steps is to sponsor the Football West Referees."

The specific match official items available for purchase from ESI include on field uniforms (jerseys, shorts and socks) as well polo shirts, jackets and branded bags. ESI also stock a range of additional items such as balls, footwear and much more.

Although the current Football West uniform is no longer in production, the decision has been made to keep the same design for continuity. However there have been changes in the quality of the product including a superior material, improved Velcro design on the pockets, and an embroidered RESPECT logo to continue to emphasise Football West's desire to change attitudes in our sport.

Football West's Referee Development Manager, Edward M. Lennie, is delighted to have a reputable local company on board. "ESI has proved that it can provide quality products on time and in accordance with our requirements. It is hoped that all our State League officials will support ESI by purchasing the new and improved uniforms."

As part of ESI's commitment to supporting Football West Referees, they have also supplied the six match officials travelling to the United Kingdom on the Football West Referee Development Tour with a set of travel, training and casual uniforms. ESI also provide the match balls for the Football West State League using the Select brand.

Although the current Football West uniform is still able to be worn, Football West encourages referees of all levels to purchase the new apparel in support of this agreement. Refereeing equipment such as flags, whistles and cards are still available for purchase from Football West (see bottom of page for details).

All apparel items are to be purchased directly from ESI's store located at Unit 7 / 33 McDonald Crescent, Bassendean (only a 10 minute drive from the Football West office in Maylands). With the supplier selling direct from their premises, this will ensure that a continuous stock of all colours and sizes will be available for the refereeing community at all times. Equipment

All equipment is currently sourced from Refsworld.

Items are available for purchase from the Football West office at Gibbney Reserve, Ferguson Street, Maylands. Accepted methods of payment are cheque/money order (made payable to Football West), credit card (phone, mail or in person) or EFTPOS (in person only). Referees who wish to have their orders posted to them will also incur a postage and handling fee (determined by the size of the order).
