There are a total of seven Standing Committees established under Clause 3.6 of the Football West Constitution:

• State League Standing Committee
• Amateur, Masters and Social Standing Committee
• Women's Standing Committee
• Juniors Standing Committee
• Referees Standing Committee
• Coaches Standing Committee
• Futsal Standing Committee

A Standing Committee is made up of a representative from each of the ten Zones.  Each Committee must have a minimum of six members. For further information in regards to the respective Standing Committees please contact Football West on (08) 9422 6900.

The purpose of Standing Committees is to advise and make recommendations to the Directors and Chief Executive Officer on matters related to their specific area of the game, in particular (but not limited to);

• Measures to promote, develop and improve the game in W.A. 
• Measures to identify and promote the development of talented players 
• Consistency of application of rules, programs and structures. 
• Any other matter relating to the game
