Football West is committed to providing WA’s talent- identified female players with the opportunity to reach their potential through a program recognised and endorsed by Football Federation Australia.
Identified players from age eight are offered a place in the Skill Acquisition Program where they receive specialised coaching from Football West’s qualified staff.
On reaching 11 years of age, talented players will transition into the National Training Centre Program, which has been devised to best prepare players for the game at the highest level.
The integrated Football West program provides players with a pathway that could lead to national representation and offers the best opportunity for players to make a career in the game.
Head of Elite Women’s Football: Jamie Harnwell
