Since 2011 Football West has been involved in important work with some local community agencies who work for the welfare of the community by engaging with people with mental health issues. Football West's community is no stranger to tragedy leading from people's unchecked crises - a number of our member clubs have been affected on occasions.
Accredited coaches and men and women of all ages regardless of their circumstance or personal situation make their way to Loftus Recreation Centre to participate in the fun-based activities and games on a fortnightly basis for the Everyone's Wellbeing Everyone's Goal Program.
Football West encourages people to take time out of their day and participate in the program; there is no cost to participants, the environment is friendly and non-confrontational and there is no requirement for permanent commitment - what you put in you get out of it.
