UPDATE: PAN Cup schedule changes

Perth African Nations Cup matches scheduled for Sunday, February 7, will not take place due to the forecast of extreme heat.

Due to anticipated 39C weather, neither the PAN Football Council nor Football West referees will allow matches to be played in consideration of player safety.

Matches will be rescheduled as soon as possible.

In last weekend's action, South Sudan stayed on the coattails of Group One leaders DR Congo with a rout of Nigeria on week two of the Perth African Nations Cup at the Cracovia Club.

Congo edged out Zambia, 2-1, to stay top of the pile.

Sierra Leone continue to lead the way in Group Two with a 3-0 win over Burundi, while second-placed Guinea lost 3-1 to Mali.

Group Three leaders North Sudan drew 0-0 with Ghana, while Somalia stayed top of Group Four on goals scored thanks to a 6-2 win over Uganda.

The Perth African Nations Cup brings together players from various communities in a thrilling football tournament.

The competition, the result of collaboration between Football West and the Perth African Nations Cup Council, has become one of the most popular events on the football calendar and runs until Sunday, February 14.
