Football West’s goal is to ensure all coaches receive access to accredited courses and that metro districts and regional centres are self supporting in relation to coach education.

At present the courses are sequential. Therefore, coaches must pass one before the second etc; the FFA is looking to review this and may allow for experience to be considered.

Coaches who hold international qualifications can apply to the FFA via Football West to have their qualifications recognised for two years. Within the two year period the coach must obtain the relevant FFA qualification.
