Are you feeling inspired after seeing the Socceroos playing in the World Cup?

Tim Cahill, Mark Schwarzer, Harry Kewell and co all showed why they’re proud to wear the green and gold in front of millions of Australians watching on TV, but it’s not so long since they started out in the game playing in their local team.

Football not only gives you the buzz of playing competitive sport, but it’s a great chance to make new friends and a fun way of keeping fit as part of a healthy lifestyle. Whether you’re a beginner at Primary School, or hitting your teens and have never played before, or maybe you’re in your 20s and haven’t kicked a ball for a few years, there is an opportunity for you.

Football West has competitions for both men and women at every age group and level of ability. Our leagues cover Rooball to Juniors, Youth to Masters, Social, Amateur and Semi Professional.

Your starting point for becoming a player is to find your local club, they can then give you further information on the how to register and what competitions they play.

To find your local club use our Find a Club A-Z.

For regional clubs contact your Regional Association.
