Country Week is held annually in the September/October school holidays.
The tournament is specifically designed for the Regions and has three key objectives:
- Regional Championships
- Talent ID of Players
- Coach Education
Football West will implement Regional Selectors for each age group, who will be responsible (in conjunction with the Regional Associations) for the identification of players within that age group. At Country Week players will be selected to join the Regional Centre Academy Program (if applicable) and to attend Country Camp. Details of the 2008 camp will be available shortly.
