Thanks to the generous support of Radio Fremantle’s community sponsors the World Football Programme runs EVERY Saturday from this Saturday. For the first time we are extending every week throughout the year!
Tune in to 107.9fm and we will take you through all of the local, national and international competitions in the World Game. Join Programme Coordinator and Host this week, Penny Tanner-Hoath, Ann Odong and Zane Abrahams in the studio from 9am to 11am for another programme of TOTAL FOOTBALL.
We don’t mess about when it comes to providing you with football news and interviews. This week we are joined in the first half hour by Garry Chandler, Football West CEO for the Soccer Pools Cup Quarter Final Draw. Steve Neville, Sorrento Coach joins us afterward to chat State League news and fixtures.
Ella Mastrantonio the youngest and newest WA Matilda joins us after the Canada v Australia game Friday night. The Canadian Captain Christine Sinclair joins us in transit to the airport and if we are lucky we will catch the Ghanaian camp also in transit. Francis Awaritife from SBS gives his opinions on the Socceroos v Ghana game and how Australia is shaping up for upcoming fixtures.
The FA Cup and European Champions League have been THE matches on everyone’s lips lately so we have a chat about the showcase they were or were not and what the results mean to who. The Italian League wrapped up with some terrific football right up to the last game. Mark Schwarzer moves from Middlesborough to Fulham and Harry Kewell waves the EPL goodbye.
