There is a new leader on top of the Loans Café Amateur Premier Leaguer after round four.

Joondalup United top the table after beating Olympic Kingsway 3-0 at the Joondalup Arena, A. Burrelli was the hero for the home side scoring a hat-trick.

Southern Spirit was beaten for the first time this season when they went down 2-1 against Fremantle United at Watson Reserve. F. Rugel put the home side in front on the hour and Paul Neff added a second six minutes later, David Palin scored for the Spirit to set up an exciting finish but United held on for the points.

In other games Murdoch moved to third place with a convincing 4-1 victory against Lynwood Colts at the Len Shearer Reserve, while UWA beat bottom of the table Maccabi 4-1 at the McGillivray Oval.

Shamrock Rovers poor season continued when they were beaten 2-1 at the Carine Open Space by Hamersley Rovers, and Spearwood Dalmatinac beat Perth Azzurri 2-1 at Dalmatinac Park.
