Southern Spirit leads the way in the Loans Café Amateur Premier Division, after winning 6-4 in a ten goal thriller against Maccabi at Maccabean Memorial Park on Sunday. On target for the Spirit were Faria 3, Palih 2, and Oliveira, with Bruzzese, Ganish, Pwurlan and Broom replying for the home side.
Joondalup sit’s in second spot after a scoreless draw against Perth Azzurri at Lacey Reserve, while Fremantle United remain third after beating Spearwood Dalmatinac 1-0 at Hilton Reserve with a late strike from D’Uliise.
In other games Murdoch suffered their first defeat of the season going down 3-1 to Olympic Kingsway at the Kingsway Reserve. Shamrock Rovers’ poor start to the season continued when they were beaten 2-1 at home by UWA, while Lynwood Colts won their first game of the season with a 3-1 win against Hammersley Rovers at the Hossack Reserve. |
